Programs and Schedules

Kids Club Saigon offers a variety of programs to nurture children's self-confidence, social communication, and early learning skills. Our program goals include:

Nurturing the natural development and individual growth of each child
Supporting the development of self-regulation and intrinsic motivation

We offer an intentional, blended approach to early childhood education - a child-centered program inspired by the Montessori approach and the schools of Reggio Emilia, which both emphasize purposeful environments, highly engaged child-led learning, the central role of teacher observation and responsiveness, and a strong connection to nature and the world around us.

Our teaching practices are informed by principles of child development and learning, and our taught curriculum is aligned with Washington State Early Learning and Development Guidelines.

Children under age 2 attend this playgroup with a parent or adult caregiver. Wee Play is designed for children who are not yet old enough for preschool but are ready to explore an environment away from home and interact with other children. Each session includes teacher-led circle times with familiar songs, plus an hour of free play in our child-friendly facility, offering outdoor play, crafts, fine motor activities, and sensory play. Snacks and materials are included.

Three-year-olds are learning to be independent and to express themselves in words and ideas. The Little Learners playgroup gives children the opportunity to explore new materials and experiences, and to develop vocabulary about the world about them. We offer a rich, creative program that focuses on hands-on activities, music and movement, shapes, numbers, colors, alphabet awareness, art and construction projects, group games, listening to stories, sharing ideas, taking turns, and making friends. For consistency and optimal learning, Little Learners attend five days a week, mornings or full days.

Our full-day KinderKids program offers a "stepping stone" between preschool and "big school." The curriculum is based on Washington State Kindergarten Learning Standards (USA), with an emphasis on communication and literacy, social-emotional learning, and building on children's interests. We have qualified, experienced teaching staff, small class sizes, and a child-centered learning environment that promotes independence, responsibility, and curiosity. Kinder Kids develop skills and mindsets to become capable, confident, caring, and collaborative citizens!

KINDER KIDS
Ages 5+

Tiny Tots is a fun, active playgroup for busy and curious toddlers. Our goal is to channel their wonderful energy and guide them into the world of learning. This playgroup focuses on social interactions, daily routines, oral language development, and fine and gross motor activities. Tiny Tots sing, dance, paint, play make-believe, listen to stories, participate in circle time, and explore materials using their senses.

For older preschoolers ready for new challenges, we offer an excellent hands-on program that balances child-directed play with guided learning experiences. Our joyful, child-centered approach actively nurtures young children's minds, hearts, and bodies so that they grow into happy, healthy, and helpful humans. Early math and science concepts, pre-reading, pre-writing, and oral language are developed through creative, wonder-based experiences. For consistency and optimal learning, Early Explorers attend five full days a week.

EARLY EXPLORERS
Ages 3.5+

It's no secret that after-school activities do wonders for a child's development! They are linked to improving social skills, academic achievement, and emotional growth. After-school activities also give children a chance to be themselves and discover unique interests outside of school. KCS Academy offers classes in science, technology, music, art, and language six days a week!
